ID10T - Never ever shake the compressed can of air. The white spray you saw in the video is the coolant! It that get inside of the laptop, it can cause the air to condense and then you have H20 inside your laptop.

I about screamed when I saw him shaking the can when spraying it on the cd drive.

Also, For those users who do not know how to clean a laptop screen, please purchase the correct cleaning solution from a local store. It can save you from ruining your laptop screen.

I have to agree to a degree. Having often used compressed air, I've been horrified to find it spraying out "water" onto surfaces I'd really not desired to put anywhere near the stuff, so I figured that perhaps like some other sprays it needs primed in some way - e.g. you spray a couple of times before using it to get rid of any moisture contained at the surface. Not sure whether that factor is dependent on shaking the can or not and don't have one handy to check what the instructions say! But would suggest caution using it at least.

The guy's words are pretty organized, smart, & fun.
But yeah, mostly you need deeper thorough cleaning. Won't they invent some real thin vacuum straw for computers? cuz other computer vacuums are too big for the computers, so like WHAT THE HELL? . I use an old toothbrush, damp & dried by a cloth, to collect out the hair & dust between the keyboard buttons & to clean finger stains on them. & results are so clean with no damage.
Oh, better clean screen in vertical strokes, cuz horizontal will bother you with some fog. Same applies in fact on any other surface like glass, marble, etc.

I have a misgiving that air, comoressed or vacuumed, can create static that damages electronics. I am fairly sure that over the years I've spoiledthree or four transistor radios by hoovering dust from the chips.

I use a microfibre cloth. You dont need any cleaning solution just a few flicks of water on the cloth.

You dont need cotton buds or compressed air just wrap a thin piece of plastic or card in the cloth and you can clean between the keys.

I got one here- screen-wipes.co.uk
