How To Clean A Leather Couch
A cleaning expert explains what to do when cleaning a leather sofa, what not to do and the importance of polish for this kind of sofa material.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to clean your leather sofa. After you remove all your items, and then with some vinegar and some water and just a cloth, you're going to see marks along, like that. You can just spray and wipe off like that.
I'm using vinegar and water, just not too much, don't make it too wet because you'll ruin your leather sofa. So, just gently clean along like that, clean the tops like that because they can also get quite dirty. And then, take the top off, the bottom off, like that, and then with your vacuum cleaner hose, you can clean all your sides like this, down your edges, all around and then, with your brush.
That's it, put the seat back on. What I recommend to clean and help protect your leather is, leather needs feeding, is to use a proper leather polisher, polish it and all you need to do is just put a little bit on like that and rub like this. This will just protect it, and then with a polishing cloth, polish it right afterwards, all around and make sure that you clean all these bits here, the sides, all down the edges as well, greasing, polishing it and making it shiny and then just putting your cushions back on.
And that's how you clean a leather sofa.
