Hi guys, my name is Tommy Pemberton. I am here with UK paintball here in South London. We are out in the woods today and I want to talk with you about paintball.

I just got back from the paintball field, feeling a little bit dejected. Some guy got lucky and shot me right in the middle of my goggles. So I want to talk to you guys about how to clean up your goggles.

What we are going to do first up depending on what we have got, you obviously need a bit of tissue. You could use a spray bottle as well depending on how bad it is. Right now, that is a pretty fresh hit.

There is no dirt in there or any real grit that is going to scratch the lens, so I am not going to bother using a spray bottle right now, but if there was dirt, I would probably spray it up so a lot of that dirt gets loosened up. Otherwise, if I just wiped the dirt across the lens, it is probably going to scratch it. What I am going to do is simply wipe straight across and try and get the majority of the paint off.

Obviously right now, it is still not much better okay. So we are going to get more tissue and the whole idea with this is to basically buff the lens so you can see through it clearly. That is pretty much all of the paint off.

Right now with paint in the frame, it is not so much of a problem if I am going to go back out and play but it can not look like I got hit in my paintball goggles again because there might be a referee out there who may think I have just been shot and may try and call me out again. So I am going to try and clean that up best as possible. If I need to give it a bit of a spray on there, anyway to loosen stuff up and then give it a wipe.

To test it out, what I am going to do is put the goggles on my head and look through the goggles right now. As you can see, it is still pretty dirty. Once it is clean and looking pretty good, I am ready to go back out again.

With these goggles, I have been using these single pane lenses so it is fine to get these as wet as you can. Some of the higher-end goggles we have, have a thermal lens, like a double glazing layer. With that layer, it is really important you do not get that too wet so do not spray it too much and get it in the top of that layer because it could actually degrade that layer.

Because I am using a single lens, it is absolutely fine and I am ready to go back out there. .
