It was really good! I used to clean my shop windows. The tip with horizontally on the outside and vertically on the inside is excellent. The liquid cleaner and vinegar is also correct. I never put more than one squirt in the liquid. You do NOT have to put as much as you were showing, I found.

The newspaper tip tip is not as relevant as it once was. The reason for this is that newspapers used to be printed with inks that required solvents to thin them out for printing and it was these solvents which used to help clean the glass. Nowadays newspapers are printed with a water based ink and so does not have the solvents in and therefore not as effective.

y dont u just put a bit off gg3 or gg4 in a bucket. applie it to your window with an applicater then squugy it off. if you have any bits left behind just use a microfiber cloth. or you could just use pure water via a water fed pole

please consult a proffessional window cleaner. You don't use news paper to dry windows you use surgical towels. You use dawn or joy dishwashing liquid. You do not need rubber gloves because dawn softens hands. You use a porcupine strip washer and a sorbo squeegee. You will never do a good job on that house unless you use aluminum extension ladders with bull horns and leg levelers and lastly the sun does not streek windows it just makes them warm and they streek easier.. :) get a clue... hahaha anyway i wish you the best.. signed 20 yrs experience

another thing never use warm water in the summer and wash windows on cool days in the morning if you are not a proffesional. Windows streek from being hot and dirty water and poor technique. There is so much more to washing glass. Smokers windows will always be a problem it dirty's up the gear. I never do bars for my business. Everything on this site is basically wrong. you can not just do the windows on a nice house. The bugs leave crystalized deposites on the glass along with dirt and stuff. If you do not clean your glass regularly (every 6 months) the sun can dry alcali from the water and etch into the glass. you also can not use razor blades on some tempered glass it will scratch. Plexi glass will scratch with just a abrasive sponge. anyway i hope this helps.. practice on a mirror in the bathroom with a squeegee. lines are made from water oozing out the side of the rubber. anyway there is alot more to cleaning glass then you think and it will never look as good as a pro can do. I have washed glass for over 14 years in washington state and i am telling you i have never saw someone do there own that i was impressed with... take care

Great advice for doing it all wrong..... news paper... what can i say... outdated.... the sun streaking the window..... mmm only if you want to believe it... changing cleaning direction so you know which side of the window is streaking.... good idea if you streak your windows... this normally occurs when the solution is not removed evenly from the window surface.... the usual causes being not using a blade, too heavy handed with the blade or not keeping it parallel to the window or putting the wet blade on a dry part of window... oh yeah the sun does speed up the drying process so i would remove the solution quickly or use a washer/ blade together.. works wonders here in oz..... no streaking.

I have lead lights so using a wiper blade is out. I use water with a dash of washing-up liquid and vinigar, soft brush, leather & soft clean cloth. But the secret is use cooled boiled water only. You'll be surprised.
