Hi I'm Tracy and I'm the cleaning fairy. I'm going to show you some cleaning tips. In this video I'm going to show you some cleaning tips.
A very useful tip for cleaning your blinds or your sofa is, use your vacuum cleaner hose, a pair of tights, pop them over the end of the nozzle like that, make sure it's nice and taut, headband over your hoover, then if you hoover your blinds, it won't stick to your hoover. It's the same thing if you're using it on your tables or on your sofa, you won't be yanking it off because you've got the tights to stop it from doing that. That's another tip.
Another really good tip is a lint roller. These are really good for quick cleaning your sofa also very good for your lamp shades as well to get those dusty bits off. It's a very good way to do quick cleaning if you haven't got time to do your hoovering.
Another tip is baby oil, now this is very good and very versatile. Makes things shiny, very good for stainless steel, for your cooker, your sink, your stainless steel kettle it comes up beautifully. Also on crayon, very good for cleaning it off of walls.
Another good cleaning tip is, if you use your mop then a tea towel, make sure the tea towel is slightly damp, put it over your mop and tie a piece of ribbon or string and lift it up and it will clean all your ceilings and all the hard to reach areas if you've got marks or smoke marks or grease. So that's another useful tip that you can use. And those are my cleaning tips.
