How To Clean Cornicing

Step 1: You will need

Step 2: Prepare

Throw an old towel or sheet over the area directly under the cornicing. This will protect it from falling dust.

Step 3: Adapt a broom

Wrap the top of a broom with a duster. Very carefully run the broom head along the cornicing. Take your time, this is not a job that can be rushed. The dust and dirt will collect on the duster as you go.

Step 4: Dust

Use an extendable dusting stick to run over the cornicing one final time. This will remove any finer particles, left over dust or cobwebs which the broom missed.
