So, we're here to talk about how to clean gold jewelry. Start with a bath of warm water, with a bit of dish detergent and ammonia that will just be to degrease the gold. This will work for rings, earrings, and necklaces, and various other chains.
So, you just need to sort of soak it in there for a little while, just to get rid of any grease or anything, and then brush around any crevices or cracks or anything. Then, give it a bit of a swish, then give it a good rinse in some water, just to get rid of any detergent. Then dry with a soft cotton cloth, and then you can go over it with a jewelry cleaning cloth as well, and that will just clean up the metal, restore the shine.
