Fill up each dirty looking glass with warm water. Drop one Alka-Seltzer tablet per glass and leave them to fizz.

Step 3: Rinse and polish

When the tablets have completely dissolved and the fizzing has stopped pour out the water. Rinse under warm water. when the bubbles stop fizzing and rinse.

Dry off and buff with a paper towel. Beautiful.

    vinegar added to a sink of cool water will do the same thing. just be careful to fill the sink first before placing the glassware in to avoid breakage. It also works in dishwashers !

    The same results can be achieved with toothpaste. This is a lot quicker and cheaper as you only need a tiny dab per glass.
