Paul Russell shares his tips on how to clean a bedroom and the basics of cleaning. There are strong ways to clean more efficiently and how to conserve while cleaning as well.
So, today, we are going to show you how to clean a bedroom. The key thing to clean any room as I've seen is to make sure you've got all the equipment you need and bring it to the room so you don't have to keep coming up and down. We always start from the top, so we will use a feather duster.
If you don't have a feather duster, a slightly damp cloth, and you want to be effectively flicking cobwebs off of the ceiling and the door frames, so you might want to wipe down the door frame because these things don't often get done. Then, you want to start with the tops of cupboards so you might need a small ladder to take everything off. Wipe it down, put the stuff back, and slowly start to make your way down and eventually you'll get to wiping down skirting, and hoovering in and out.
As you can see, we don't spray the furniture polish direct to the surface because that is just wasting polish. We want to spray it to the cloth. The reason why you would spray to the cloth is it actually lasts a lot longer than what people realize, so what they tend to do is just spray away and then just keep wiping down.
You would just go through a bottle of polish pretty quickly. You can actually just spray the polish to the cloth and that will actually do, at least, your door and some shelves as well, so it's a good way of saving polish. It's all about preparation in any room, you obviously want to make space and clean in a logical way.
That is why we always start from the top and work our way down and work our way up. And that's how you clean a room. .
