How To Clown About Whilst Juggling Fruit
Our resident VideoJug clown shows you how to juggle fruit in a typical clown like way. Learn to be the most popular clown at your party, by following VideoJug's amazing juggling techniques with fruit.
Step 1: You will need
Step 2: Juggling fruit
The clown is juggling with fruit, and an onion! Naughty clown, he's eating one of the juggling fruit. He must be very hungry. Shouldn't you be juggling with that fruit clown? Oh yes, that's better. Oh clown! You've bitten into a nasty onion!
Step 3: How it's done.
Take some spherical fruit - the beginner may want to start with three apples - and juggle them in the usual fashion to get used to their weight and texture.
Now try juggling two of the fruit in your dominant hand. Throw both fruit up on the inside and catch on the outside. Your hand will be moving in a clockwise motion.
Once you have mastered throwing two groceries in one hand, introduce the third at the optimum time and keep juggling all three. The optimum time is when you throw one ball to the other hand but just before you catch it.
Now, when one item of fruit reaches your left hand, keep hold of it! Now you have a bite of that tasty granny smith.
Step 4: Fruity Variations
Take a variety of food produce: our clown suggests one apple, one orange and an onion.
Now juggle all three. Keep your eye on that tasty apple and when it reaches your left hand, keep hold of it! Juggle the orange and onion in your right hand as before.
Now re-introduce the apple to the other comestibles. This time keep the onion in your left hand and take a bite.
Tips & Comments
Well done! In America we are so primitive, we only juggle balls. They have no nutritional value whatsoever.
"well done clown. hav a banana." random! ridiculous! but still funny!
You can also eat the apple while it is in the pattern (the normal cascade of three). You need to catch it a bit early, bring it to your mouth, and stick it back in the pattern. If you're practicing with beanbags, try "kissing" one for practice. This early catch can also be used to place one of the objects atop your head or hat, from whence it can roll back down into the pattern.
