uk. So now, I'm going to show you how to make colored fondant. So as you can see here, I've got some fondant icing, so this is fondant icing as we usually buy it, which is just white.

And I've used some paste colorings already to dye these three pieces. I've got red, purple, and blue. We're using paste colorings like this, because they're much stronger than liquid colorings.

When you're adding coloring to something like fondant, if you add a liquid coloring, it makes it too soft to work with, so it's best to use paste coloring because you need much less of them to make the vibrant colors. So all I've done to make these is just added the coloring with a cocktail stick. So now I'll make some yellow.

So just taking a bit on a cocktail skit and just putting it on the fondant, and then just mixing it all the way through. And there you have a yellow color. So if I want it a bit darker, all you do is just add more.

So the same applies to these colors here. I've made a dark purple, but if I wanted to make a light purple or lilac sort of color, all you do is just add a bit less. The same goes for the blue, and if you want a light blue, just add less.

So there I've got a nice shade of yellow. And that is how you make colored fondant. .
