At our school we havea deaf physics teacher. I don't know exactly what happened but he had really good hearing and then for some reason he woke up in hospital stone deaf. He decided he would carry on with his job as he is very passionate about teaching. At the end of the current academic year he is retiring, due to his condition. Last year we used his room as our form room and on some days he would teach us sign language but sadly I am the only one who still uses it when talking to him. I like learning it and I might take a signing course when I go to college. He is still learning so I will forward this to him. Thanks!
