Step 1: Put your arms around the casualty

Once you have caught the person, release your hold slightly, and from behind them, put your arms around them, but do not hold them up.

Step 2: Let them fall back against you

Taking a stable stance, with knees slightly bent and one foot in front of the other, take the weight of the casualty against your body without attempting to hold them up.

Step 3: Allow casualty to slide to the floor

While you remain standing, allow the casualty to slide to the floor. Don't try and holding them up, but support their head.

Step 4: Make them comfortable

Now, kneeling down next to or behind the person, do what you can to make them comfortable

If the person does not recover quickly,seek medical help.
