Method

Put your chestnuts on a baking tray and roast them in the over at 160 degrees Celsius for about 10-12 minutes.

You need to be careful with the timing, as if you undercook them you will not be able to peel them, and if you overcook them they will explode.

Let the chestnuts cool down and peel with a knife, remembering to take off the inner skin as well as the husk.
