How To Cook Fried Chicken
Have you ever wanted to make your own southern fried chicken at home? Now you can! In this step by step guide Matt Kemp from the Underground Cookery School shows you how to make it.

Ingredients
- flour
- salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- breadcrumbs
- 3 chicken thighs
Method
Place some flour on a plate, then season with a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, the paprika and the chilli powder. Mix all these ingredients together.
Dip each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour, followed by the egg, and the breadcrumbs.
Heat some oil in a deep fat fryer to 160 degrees Celsius, and cook the chicken thighs for 15 minutes.
Dab the chicken pieces with some kitchen paper to remove the excess oil, then serve.
