Ingredients
- 10 spears asparagus
- 20 g butter
- 1/2 lemon
Step 1: Prepare The Asparagus
Snap each spear of asparagus in half, and then trim the ends off each piece.
Step 2: Boil The Asparagus
Bring a saucepan of water to boiling point, place the asparagus pieces into this saucepan, and leave to boil for about 3 minutes.
Step 3: Blanch And Then Grill The Asparagus
Transfer the asparagus pieces to cold water. Bring a griddle pan to heat, take the asparagus out of the water, and then place each piece into the griddle pan. After about 2 minutes, add the butter to the pan, and then squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the pan.
Step 4: Serve
Take the asparagus out of the pan and plate up, then pour the butter and juice over the asparagus pieces and around the plate.
