Ingredients

  • 250 g jasmine rice
  • 1/2 lemon
  • salt
  • water

Method

Before you cook the rice it needs to be rinsed to remove any excess starch, you can do this by putting it in a colander and running it under the tap.

Bring a pot of water to the boil and add the salt, half a lemon and the rice. Boil for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked.

Drain the rice and serve.

If you have any left over or you want to use it cold, you can refresh it under cold water and keep it in the fridge.
