Have a look, that food is actually fantastic. I'm just going to demonstrate how I cooked my lima bean and the butter bean. What I've done was I soaked it overnight for about twelve hours and refreshed it about three times, fresh water, and I put that back on the stove, pre-cooked it for about thirty to about fifty minutes on a slow simmer with some garlic and some onions and some carrots to give it some flavour, drained it off and refreshed it.

Stopped it from cooking and this is the result. What we have here is the butter bean, just slightly cooked, able to sort of press out the lovely bean that we've got there. So what I'm going to do is a quick demo of what I've used for a butter bean, how would I use it? So, I've got some chickpea, I've got some kidney beans, so somehow, now to get a salad out of there, now you could do a butter bean curry, you could do a butter bean soup as well.

So I'm going to show you how to make a salad with the greens I've got. I've got the chickpea, I've got the butter beans, they're going to go in there, I've got the string beans and I've got the kidney beans as well. Add some lemon juice in there, add some black pepper, add some salt.

Give it a real nice flavour. This is great as a vegetarian salad as well. It can be reheated as it is.

Chop some sage for it, quite nice. What shall we do now? You could chop a dressing for that, you could chop a seeded dressing to give it flavour, it's a salad too, you could have some tomato, but you've got a great base, a healthy salad, some lovely colors there. Add some meat sauce.

Now for that, I'm going to keep it simple. So I've got my string beans, I've got my chick peas, I've got my butter beans, now, I've got my kidney beans now. All are actually fantastic colours there.

I've got my oil in there as well and now some olive oil, and put some lemon juice and that would really be nice and that'd be great as a salad. So, that's how I'll cook my lima beans. .
