How To Cook Little Cupcakes

Julie Storey of the Brighton Cupcake Company shows you how to make little cupcakes for any occasion. She shows you how to bake them, apply a butter cream frosting, in either chocolate or vanilla, and decorate them however you want. They are perfect for adults as well as children for parties or any kind of get-together!

Ingredients

  • 120 g flour
  • 120 g butter
  • 120 g casting sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1: Prepare The Cupcake Mixture

Beat the butter and sugar together until white and creamy, then add the eggs and beat again. Once combined, add the flour and mix well.

Step 2: Prepare The Cupcakes

Fill up each cupcake case with about 15 grams of cupcake mixture.

Step 3: Bake Cakes

Bring the oven to heat, and the place these filled cupcake cases into a cupcake baking tray, and then into the oven. Cook them for about 10 minutes.

Step 4: Decorate And Serve

Use a piping back filled with butter cream, and pipe some onto each cake. Add decorations where required.
