Ingredients
- Peas
- Salt
- Water
Step 1: Boil
Heat a pan of water and add some salt to increase the temperature. Once it is boiling, add the peas. They will cook in only a few seconds. If using frozen peas, allow them to thaw first if you want them to cook as quickly.
Step 2: Cool
Remove the pan from the heat and spoon the peas straight into a jug of cold water to stop them cooking further. They should be tender and tasty and can be reheated as needed.
