How To Cook Pork Fillet

Ingredients

  • 1 pork fillet
  • savoy cabbage
  • 1 small bramley apple, diced
  • 60 ml honey

Method

Heat oil in an ovenproof frying pan. Season the pork fillet with salt on all sides and place in the hot pan. Seal the fillet on all sides for 4 to 5 minutes, until golden brown. Place in the oven for a further 6 minutes.

To cook the cabbage, place in a pan with some butter and add a little water. Then add the diced apples, some pepper and cook for a couple of minutes.

When the pork fillet is cooked, remove it from the oven and, while the pan is still hot, drizzle the fillet with the honey. Leave the fillet to rest on a board for 5 minutes before slicing and serve on a bed of cabbage and apple.
