Ingredients

  • 1 sirloin steak, tenderised
  • 1/2 tsp butter

Step 1: Heat the pan

Heat a griddle pan to a very high temperature, without putting any fat on it.

Step 2: Add the Steak

Put the steak on the griddle pan and leave it for about 30 seconds, then turn the steak by 90 degrees and cook for another 30 seconds. Turn the steak over and cook for 30 seconds, then turn by 90 degrees and cook for a final 30 seconds.

Step 3: Rest

Place the cooked steak on a board and leave it to rest for about 2-3 minutes; this will help to make the steak tender.

Step 4: Serve

Rub the butter over the steak and serve either whole or sliced.
