Ingredients

Step 1: Boil

Remove the tip of the turnip. Add to a pan of boiling water. Add some baking powder to prevent the turnips from going bitter. Cook the turnips for 6-7 minutes.

Step 2: Fry

Finely chop an onion, heat on the pan. Add 1 tsp paprika. Cook until the onions begin to soften, then remove the pan from the heat.

Step 3: Roast

Stuff the turnips with the paprika-infused onions. Add some olive oil to the top along with a sprinkling of brown sugar. Roast for 15 minutes at 170C.
