Wash your hands

Wash your hands before applying any products, and clean your brushes before and after.

Remedies

Carry on using any spot remedies you might be using. The night before a special event, moisturise the blemish as it is easier to cover red skin than it is to cover dry skin.

Conceal

Apply foundation or tinted moisturiser to your blemish before applying concealer. Use a medicated face concealer and pat it onto the spot with a small brush. Blend it in with a cotton bud.

Powder

Apply translucent loose or pressed powder on top of the concealer, patting it on to the skin.
