How to reduce dark circles under your eyes. Dark circles can come from hereditary reasons or purely just due to age. And there are three steps you can take in order to cover these up.
Firstly, use a corrector. A corrector is not a concealer, it's purely a peachy or pinky color. Ask at your beauty counter what color works best for you.
But use a small amount, very small amount, underneath the eye and just gently place it in the area where the dark circles are. Next, use a concealer. Often, you can use a concealer which has got a small amount of light reflecting properties in it.
This will make your eyes look even fresher and brighter. Again, don't use too much, just a small amount underneath the eye and blend very well into the skin. This should reduce the purpleness underneath the eye.
The next step is to use a small amount of powder. Don't use a huge amount, put a small amount on your brush and tap it away. And then very, very lightly, dust it under the eye.
This will just make sure that the under eye concealer does not move away too much. So, just remember, firstly use a color corrector to make sure that you neutralize the purple or green under-eye lines. Secondly, use a concealer, and thirdly, use a small amount of powder.
And that's how to cover dark circles under your eyes.
