How To Cover Up Pimples

Covering up your pimples can sometimes be frustrating especially if you don't know how. Here's a simple guide on how to cover up pimples and take care of your skin.

If you want to cover up pimples, try and look at products which don't have as many chemicals in them. Try and go more for the natural versions. The most important thing is moisturize your skin well beforehand.

Treat your skin well before applying any makeup or foundation on to your skin. So, wash your hands before you apply a product, use a good toner, use a good water-based day cream, go through all the motions, and really help your skin because your skin really needs to be restored back to health. At the same time, what I would suggest is buy a makeup or a foundation which is oil-free.

That is very important because if you have too much oil and fat bases in your foundation or in your makeup, you will make the acne problem actually worse. So, what you should be doing is go to a good shop and look for an oil-free foundation. Now, when you apply the foundation, it can be even a powder, so you could actually use a powder foundation to cover up your spots.

Now, what you need to do is, if you have a pad and apply the powder foundation, make sure it washed the pad very well each time. Disinfect it so that it doesn't become affected by various bacteria which may again exacerbate your spots. If you prefer a liquid foundation, as I said, it needs to be an oil-free foundation.

Use as little as possible onto your spots. But the one thing which is really important and you have to look at is that you have to wash your skin every night very well. Do not go to bed with any type of makeup you may use because that will actually cause the worsening of your spots.

So, make sure to actually wash your skin well with a water-based wash, rinse it off well with warm water. You can use actually a face brush to get rid of the makeup as well. So, put the face brush on the warm water, put your wash on to your skin, don't use a harsh wash, and then brush the brush into your skin in circular motions and make sure you remove all the makeup and then hydrate your skin with a toner, with a night cream, and in the morning again with a toner, with a day cream before reapplying the makeup.

That is very important. Cleanse your skin, nourish your skin, and go for fat-free bases. .
