Crystals R Us shows how to create rhinestone iron on transfers
Hi! My name is Lalji Varsani from Crystals R Us. Today, we will show you various aspects of how to apply iron on items. How to create iron on rhinestone transfers.
Firstly, you need to make a design, something like this. I've done hearts, different type of hearts. But using paint of fian, you can draw on a piece of paper, any design you like, and once you've done that.
You place it on a table, you need to get a special sticky tape which is called mylar paper. These are special, specially made for creating rhinestone transfers. They come in two parts, the white packing and the clear.
You peel the mylar paper white and discard the white packing. Now you need to place this mylar paper on the transfer with the sticky side facing up. So I'm gonna do the hearts on the top corner.
Place the transfer sticky paper the way you want as it doesn't move around, tape the corners. Tape the corner half the way around the paper. And now, now you need to get some rhinestones.
So there goes my pack of rhinestones here. These are SS 10. You can put any size of rhinestones, and just tip them over.
Now you need to get good quality tweezers that pick up crystals. And there goes the good quality tweezers and, what you need to do is, with the rhinestones' glue side up, you pick up with the tweezers and you just go over and place on the outline of your design. and just keep on going over the outline where the dots are and you just place them on the dots.
I shall do one design until we have. I've done the outline of the hearts in clear crystals. It don't have to be positioned correctly because I'll show you afterwards once the design is done on how to position the crystal and position them correctly.
So I've done the outline of the clear crystals. Now I will do the heart in red crystal so you get to see how it look in two colors. Then just tip the red crystals on the table and with the glue side up, pick up with the tweezers and place them again on the outline of the arrow.
Ensure that, be sure that your picking it up with the glue side up. So that the crystals actually stick on the mylar paper. Get your white packing paper and place it over your design.
Peel the tapes. And now you can turn, turn your ready made design face up. Now the other design I made from this template.
As you can see some of the crystals are not aligned. To align these crystals, all you have to do is, with your fingernail, you could actually move the crystals very easily by applying a little bit of pressure and move how you want. And that's it.
Rhinestone transfer made using a template. Now you can use that anytime you like. And that's how to make a rhinestone transfer.
