Hi. I'm Edward Hayes. I'm a hair stylist at Andrew Jose Hair Salon in London.
This is how to curl frizz out of the hair. If your hair is dry before you actually start this whole method, what I would say is wet it down, maybe in the shower. I'm just going to spray it down.
Try and make sure it's quite heavily moisturized. And then, I would say this is where you start to think about your product choice. Ideally, for quite frizzy hair, I would use a serum.
So, I'm going to use the J Life Straighter Head serum today. I'm just going to apply two or three, because she's got quite a lot of hair, on the palm of my hand. Spread that through evenly, and then start at the midlengths and run it through to the ends.
Run it gently. Try not to get too close to the root, but as close as you can, maybe about a centimeter or two from the root. And then, you can apply it like an iron, using your hands as an iron, just making sure you're getting all the product in there.
So what the serum's going to do is, it's actually going to maintain this frizz in the hair. Now when you're doing this, make sure that the nozzle is always pointing down the hair shaft, to try and control, and smoothen out the hair completely. What you can do is, actually hold the ends quite tightly, and just focus running the nozzle down the hair.
So the key points are, first, to go along the top, then next on the right, then on the left, and also just to lift the hair up and go underneath with the hair dryer. We're taking and controlling that frizz. There you go.
