How To Cut A One Line Length

Hi, my name is Nick Davis from Simplicity Remastered and I'm here to show you the 5 basic cutting techniques. The first and primary cutting technique is the one length line. Here on Elaine I'll be showing you all 5 techniques.

As you can see here there's one very heavy line which would primarily be cut in using a scissor cut nice and straight as close to the skin as possible working along. This is a one length technique, it keeps the hair very heavy and creates very blunt sharp lines. Another way to put that line in is using the very point of your scissors and to nibble a very solid line into it.

What this creates is a strong line but with a soft edge. .
