How To Cut Drywall - Circle Hole
A quick tutorial showing you how to cut circular holes in drywall.
I'm going to give you some basic tips on kitchen fitting. In this video, I'm going to show you how to cut a circle hole into plasterboard, or drywall as it's known in the US. I'm going to be using a circular saw stout cutter.
I've pre-positioned my hole. When positioning where you want the hole to be cut, always remember to check for electrical cables, any existing plumbing work and be careful of the timbers that might be holding the wall together. I'm going to place the pilot part of my drill on the intersection crosses I've made and I'm going to slowly start drilling.
And there we have it. The perfect circle. We've used the technique we showing today to draw a circular hole through plasterboard.
The same techniques can be applied to drill soft woods and also plastics.
