How To Deal With A Sore Gum - Part 2

Step 1: Toothbrush Care

In our last two videos about caring for the teeth and gums, Vivian and I showed you good technique for using two toothbrushes, one regular toothbrush and a second toothbrush where half of the bristles have been cut away. And this toothbrush is used at the gum line.

Step 2: Dental Floss

We also showed a technique for scrubbing the facing surfaces of the teeth with dental floss, and if there is a soreness in the gum, then the dental floss can get up into a pocket where food debris is left behind, and pull it out.

Step 3: Specialist Toothbrush

However, even with the two toothbrushes and the dental floss, it is possible for food debris, still, to cause soreness in the gum. And if this happens, then there is a third step that can be taken. This little brush, which is cone shaped, can get between two facing teeth, and it can pull out any food debris that is left behind. This particular brush came with a cap on it. That's it.
