It's too drying and can cause more congestion. Mix a solution of baking soda & water to a liquid-soak cotton pads in this solution and apply to facial areas to be extracted from. Leave on for 10 mins. If you can steam your face using a towel like a tent over your head -over the sink-with hot water running. The steam & solution combine will loosen blackheads-definately use tissues over finger tips. NEVER pinch the skin. Push skin together AROUND the clog to release.
