How To Decorate Sunflower Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups self-raising flour
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cups (250ml) unsalted and softened butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 vanilla or chocolate base cupcake
- yellow butter cream
- 1 tube black decorating gel
- 1 cups (250ml) Reese's pieces
- edible glitter
- toffee desert sauce
Step 1: Prepare The Piping Bag
Fill the piping bag with yellow butter cream.
Step 2: Form The Topping
Use a spachelor to smooth over some toffee sauce on the top of the cupcake. Now add some Reese pieces to cover the inner area of the top, leaving the outer rim bare.
Step 3: Form The Petals
Using your piping bag of yellow butter cream, gently apply short squeezes of the butter cream onto the outer rim so they hang off the cake and down the side of the plastic casing slightly, forming sunflower petals. Now go over these again with more petals to overlap the previous ones, forming more petals.
Step 4: Serve
Sprinkle some edible glitter on top of the cupcake, and serve.
