Step 1: Shape The Cookies
Use a vanilla cookie dough made from butter, sugar eggs and plain flour. Knead the dough, rest it, then roll it out and cut it into a wedding design of your choice. Bake in an oven for about ten minutes as on 170 to 180 degrees.
Step 2: Ice The Cookies
After 10 mins, take them out of the oven let them cool. With a piping bag, outline the shape of the cookie with white icing. Once the outline has dried, fill in the middle with runny icing. If there are bubbles in the icing, use a needle to pop them. Leave the cookies for a few hours to allow the icing to dry.
Step 3: Decorate The Cookies
Draw a design over the top using fresh royal icing. You can start with the outline of the shape, then add colours and details.
