Step 1: Connect Your iPod

Plug one end of your USB connector cable or your iPod dock into the bottom of your iPod and the other into the USB port on your computer.

Step 2: Select Your iPod

When iTunes automatically launches, move your cursor up to the source list on the left side of the iTunes window and click on your iPod.

Step 3: Click On The Playlist

In the source list, find the playlist that you want to delete the song from and click on it.

Step 4: Delete The Song

Find the song you want to remove and press delete. Your song is now deleted from your iPod but not your iTunes.
