How To Delete Media From Your Zune Library

Much like in the physical world, your virtual music library can become bloated and cluttered. So, we'll show you how to get rid of unwanted tracks and delete Media from your Zune Library.

Step 1: Track It Down

Find the album or song you wish to delete and bring it up on your Zune interface. Right-click the item and choose "delete" from the drop down menu.

Step 2: Make A Choice

You'll notice a new window pops up which gives you a couple of deletion options. "Delete from library and my computer" leaves no trace of the item on your machine. "Delete from library only" removes the item from your Zune library but leaves the album on your hard drive.

Step 3: Get It Back

If you decide you absolutely can't live without all of your 80's rock -and you chose the "delete from my library" option- just locate the album on your hard drive and drag it back in.
