Hi, I'm Simon and I'm the brand manager from Melvita. Melvita is France's largest certified organic beauty brand but we get asked a lot about how to recover our skin and our bodies after exercise, really boosting the wellbeing. So today, we're going to show you a quick fix and the longer term solution for improving skin and muscle recovery after exercise.
First of all, we're going to use our relaxing leg gel. This product is incredibly cooling, it contains menthol for an instant anti-fatigue hit. It's one of those products that you can use straight away after the gym as it instantly absorbs with the gel-like texture.
Simply apply in upward motions towards the heart on the full length of the leg. You don't need that much of this product as this is incredibly cooling, even cold on the skin. But it does make an instant refreshing sensation.
The second product is called Kinesis Massage Oil. Now actually, both of these products contain a key ingredient, it's called a sparling. It's an anti-fatigue amino acid complex that will help muscle recovery.
It's one of those products that you could use maybe if you're walking out in the hills in the cold weather or when you get home and ask your partner to help you apply. This product contains eucalyptus so it's very stimulating, and also relaxing lavender. It can be applied all over the body, massaging in.
Use quite vigorous movements to encourage blood flow. The oil base solution will help moisturize the skin and boost its condition. When you're concentrating on the bigger muscles, use a slightly more vigorous, almost pinching motion.
