How To Do A Back Side Tail Slide On A Skateboard
Pump up your skateboarding run by doing a back side tail slide. Explained by Devan James from the Board Bangers!
Step 1: The Position
Place your back foot on the tail and your front foot on the bolts. Approach parallel to the ledge and make sure you have enough distance to ollie onto the ledge.
Step 2: The Motion
With your back facing the ledge, ollie and 180 at the same time, making sure you have enough distance to hit the ledge. Lock your back tail on and make sure you put a lot of weight on the tail so it can slide. Put a little bit of weight on the nose to balance it out, so you won't slip out of your trick.
Step 3: The Landing
Put your nose down a little bit and then pop out of the back tail. Make sure when your landing your legs are directly over the bolts because bolts are perfect.
Step 4: Having Problems?
Put too much weight on the back of the tail and you'll get stuck. You might not be doing the back 180 and getting on the ledge all the way. Or you might get on it a little bit and then slide out.
