Ricardo Macedo gives basic instructions on stretching your body to improve your flexibility after your workout. He tells you how to do it painlessly and effectively.
Here we go! Hi, my name is Ricardo Macedo. I'm from R-Fitness in Kensington, London. We're going to show you how to do some exercise and present you with a few guidelines, so let's get ready.
Hi, today we are going to show you a workout in how to improve your flexibility. Simple basic exercise, we're going to give you a good, flexible body. There are many ways to achieve a good, flexible body.
The main way is consistency. The ideal stretch would be after your workout. If you have a chance to have a workout before stretching, so you can start gently.
When you feel muscles getting tense about pulling, relax. It should not be painful. You should not be struggling.
Okay? Start gently, increase gradually and you'll get it. Today, Phen is going to show us a few different stretches and we're going to start with one. Legs open, wide open, we're going to go left and right, and we go over and down, reach for your feet, rise, down right in the middle, rise, and on the other side.
You should hold the position for 15 seconds in each position, then repeat again for three times. That's one basic one. We got a few more to show you.
