How To Do A Front Side Flip Trick
Impress your mates by mastering a new skate trick! In this video, Geoff from Tech Deck and Rubicon guides you through the front side flip.
This video is how to do a frontside flip trick. First of all get your feet in the right place - your back foot firmly on the tail right on the edge to create the pop, your front foot just behind the bolt pointing towards the nose and on the heel edge. The first step is to snap the tail down and your front foot is going to slide off the front and front sided means you're going to turn it anti-clockwise, so you're really going to be rotating your body using your shoulders and your hips and hopefully that will keep the board rotating as you flip.
The plan is you've popped, you've flipped, you're rotating and you try if you can to keep your head up but take your feet over the bolts, then when you land it's stable and you can ride away clean. So just to recap on the front side flip. The back foot as always is creating the Ollie by snapping the tail down, you're using your shoulders and your hips to rotate anti-clockwise which will make the board spin this way, and your front foot is slid off the front hopefully rotating the board like so.
And that is how you do a front side flip.
