1. Edge of seat is just behind the knee
2. Ankle pad at upper ankle just below the shin
3. Extend out – will feel burn in quads/thighs
4. Slowly lower
Step 1: Actual Transcript
This is the leg extension. This is to strengthen your quad muscles or your thigh muscles. To set up on this machine you want to make sure that the seat comes up just behind your knees and the ankle pads should be right above your ankles.
Step 2: Back Positioning
From here, keep your back pressed into the seat and you're going to extend out, not quite all the way. Keep a slight bend in your knees and slowly back down.
Step 3: Breathing & Control
Don't let the weight touch. You're breathing out and in. Abs are tight the whole time. Help control the muscles, control that weight. Good. Let's do one more. And relax. Good job.
