Hi, my name is Sunita Passi and I'm from a company called Tri-Dosha. We're specialists in training in Ayurvedic therapy and also meditation. We supply products and treatments to some luxury spas around the world.

There are many ways to meditate and I'm here today to talk about some different meditation techniques you can bring into your life in order to feel happier and healthier. I'm here to tell you about the link between Reiki and meditation. First, let's consider what meditation is.

Meditation comes in many, many different forms and is often used on a simple level to create clarity of mind, reduce stress, reduce tension, and reduce anxiety. It is also used on a physiological perspective for people who have specific health problems. It can be used to combat asthma.

It's also been used to combat problems associated with the abdomen. It's also often used to help people reconnect with themselves. So, if you've been feeling out of synch, if you feel that you're not very rooted, and you need something to anchor you again, meditation is often associated with helping you come back into balance.

So, it is a very powerful technique, a very powerful tool that helps you in many different ways that basically brings balance back into your everyday life. Reiki, on the other hand, is a method, or a medium, that's used to connect to a higher source in the universe. It's said that this higher source offers the greatest healing and greatest compassion that you would feel around you or on the planet, you could say.

So, Reiki practitioners go through a period of training whereby they are able to actually channel energy from a higher source and bring that into their treatment in order to support their clients' well-being. When you link Reiki and meditation, the whole aim of Reiki meditation is to actually bring this higher source into your meditation technique so that you find the quietest space in your mind possible, so that you can actually hear what this greatest source has for you on your journey on this planet. So, it's a way of actually connecting with, say, your divine presence.

That's probably the easiest way of describing it. It's a powerful medium used by people who feel, in their level of evolution, this is what they are meant to be doing on their souls' journey, you could say. It is also a very good solution if you're feeling very out of synch with yourself and you really feel that you need to connect with something deeper and more meaningful.

I hope you've enjoyed hearing me speak about the link between Reiki and meditation and I look forward to telling you about other meditation techniques. Thank you. .
