How To Do A Three And A Half Minute Hair Updo

http://pursebuzz.com

Step 1:

Putting Hair in a scarf.

Hey welcome to Pursebuzz.com. Today I’m going to show you a really, really easy look. This is something that I do about three times a week because I would rather sleep in than do my hair in the morning. So I usually just put my hair in a scarf and I’m ready to go.

Step 2:

Brush hair

So All you need is your brush and a scarf and some bobby pins. So what I do is I just take my hair. See this something I this is how I look like in the morning you know. Hairs kind of knotted kind of gross. What I do is I is just kind of brush it really smoothly on the top I don’t even worry about the ends I don’t even have time for that. If you have long bangs you can kind of split it the middle and do that swoop to the side it’s like that. But since I have bangs I’m going to want to pull that forward. I’m going to put my hair in a low ponytail and what we’re going to do is just pretty much put a low bun.

Step 3:

Pony Tail

I’m going to take these clear rubber bands I got these at Alta comes in a hot tools package like this I think it costs like two dollars or something. I like them a lot because they’re disposable you just use it for that day and then just toss it and they don’t get caught in your hair and you can’t see it. So a pony tail your going to twist it and your just going to keep going around just like then and you’re going to tuck it under just a basic, basic bun no big deal. Then your going to take some more clear rubber bands I’m going to take two just in case and I’m just going to go right over it. I’m going to do it twice just like that. Then we’re going to take our scarf. I have this long scarf here this is a coach scarf, but its long and so you can get one from Target, Walmart, Macys it doesn’t matter as long as it’s a long narrow scarf and you’re going to fold it into thirds or just depending on the size of your scarf. So you can do it two inches or three inches or one and then your going to place this on top of your head.

Step 4:

Wraping up the Hair

So depending if this will slip off of your head you’re going to have to fold it strategically where you have one flap that’s hanging out like this and then your going to place this on your head just like that pull it back. And your going to place your bobby pins right in there and then your going to fold this over it so that it covers your bobby pins. So I’m not going to do that just because I’m demonstrating. Now that you’ve bobby pinned it your going to take it to the back and you’re going to make a knot just like that. Then you’re going to take one of the sides and you’re going to cover over that bun just kind of like that. And you’re going to take this wrap it over make a knot pull it through.

Step 5:

Try it out.

Do it twice to make sure it’s secure and there you go. That’s it and that is what I do about like I said three times a week because I don’t want to brush my hair. You know I don’t want to deal with it but I want to look cute. I want to look like I’m accessorizing and doing my hair. So there’s my look it’s very cute. You know summer time it gets really hot you don’t even want to look at your hair. Do a little scarf match your outfits and that’s pretty much it. Thanks again for joining me at Pursebuzz.com bye, bye.

I think it was a good quick idea for those of us who are hair accessory challenged. All of you with negative comments about her, be nice. I'm sure you look like crap sometimes too, so don't judge people :)

i think the problem with it is the choice of scarf. if it had cute little flower prints (like on a kimono) it would have brighten up everything instead of it looking old. Coach isn't everything, girlfriend!

Poenut is an idiot. The bobby pins as she said in the video clip were to keep the scarf from slipping, which is something that happens to most people. And not everyone has lots of time to spend on their hair. They are probably doing more important things. : )

A good idea, ideal for the beach to protect hair from sand and sun. Why do people leave such nasty personal comments?

This hairstyle is definitely not for me. I personally would rather spend a half an hour on my hair and have it look great then do it in 3 and a half minutes and look like crap. but that is just my opinion

Uhh..I don't like it. It looks like something an old lady would do. Just putting it in a bun was fine--although her hair looks a bit scraggly. Then again, I suppose that's why she's covering it in the first place :P I also didn't get the point of using bobby pins on the scarf--just fold it. The bobby pins were an unnecessary step.

This girl has completely changed the way I get ready in the morning. Growing up with out a mom has left me hair/make up handicapped. Her instructions are easy to follow and look great.
