How To Do A Varial Heelflip

Take your skateboard tricks to the next level as the team from Zombie Brand Skateboards shows you how to do a varial heel flip in this short video.

This is how to varial heel. It's exactly the same as a front shove-it but with a heel flip involved. Basically, you want your back foot in the same way or position as a front shove-it, but instead you want your left foot a bit more forward and your toes hanging off slightly.

When you're popping with a front shove, you want to pop so the board goes outwards, but instead of doing that as well, when you kick, you want to kick off your foot to the side. So, you'll pop with this - that will make this momentum - and when you do this, it will make the heel flip momentum. So, when you put this together, it comes round, varial heel.

What we see is a heel flip and a front shove-it put together. It's a bit more difficult, but like I said, you want to put your foot in this position, put your other foot in this position, pop like you would with a front shove, but kick up your heel to the side which will bring it round, catch it, down, and that's a varial heel. You want to put your foot in a heel flip position with your back foot on the back in the corner.

You want to do it like a front shove, but you want to kick you front forward out just like a heel flip. When putting them together, your front shove with your back foot will go like this, and with the kick of the heel here, it will bring the board to come round with a varial heel, catch it and it bolts, and ride away. That's how you do a varial heel flip. .
