Step 1: Prepare The Hair

start with clean dry hair. You can also prep the hair with a bit of texture dust, for that real tousled look.

Step 2: Start French Braid

Lean your head over and start the french braid at the nape of the neck. Separate the hair into three sections and begin your French braid. Continue braiding towards the crown, taking sections from each side as your go.

Step 3: Start The Bun

Once you've braided to your desired height, secure the braid with a hair tie and make in to a bun.

Step 4: Finish The Bun

With the front section of the hair that you've left free, pull it back and wrap around the bun. Secure the bun in place with kirby grips.

Step 5: Finish

This look isn't very structured. If you want you can run your fingers through the plait or use a tail comb, just to mess it up a bit and give it a bit more texture. Finish with hairspray to hold the style in place.
