Step 1: Apply Foundation
Prep and prime the skin, then use a brush to apply foundation to the centre of the face working outwards. You could use a warmer shade to your natural skin tone for a glowing appearance but ensure that you blend well at the jawline.
Step 2: Add Concealer
Take a brush and apply concealer to areas which are prone to redness, such as around the nose and under the eyes - but be sparing with heavy concealer.
Step 3: Eyebrows
Use the Collection Clear Mascara to brush and set your eyebrows in shape. Using the Bobbi Brown Eye Definer Brush define your eyebrows using colour and wax from the Smashbox Eyebrow Palette.
Step 4: Apply Mascara
Brush on Rimmel's Super Volume Mascara, really wiggling it into the roots of your lashes and fanning them out for a more dramatic look.
Step 5: Add Eye Shadow
Sweep a light neutral coloured eye shadow over the lid using a brush. Then using an angled eye shadow brush made a winged shape by applying a medium brown colour along the lash line, taking it up into the corner socket line and creating the dramatic winged shape. Next apply a deep brown colour with a small brush over the medium colour concentrating it in the middle. Then use a lighter shade to blend the whole eye shadow look together - grey is a great shade to neutralise the brown tones. Finally use a light pink eye shadow shade and lightly dab to the middle of the eye for a more dramatic effect.
Step 6: Eye Liner
Run the MAC Graph Black Eye Liner along the lash line and underneath the eyes, making it thicker towards the corner. Take the darkest shade of eye shadow used previously and blend the eye liner with a pointed eye shadow brush for a softer edge. Use a dry cotton bud to clean up any wondering eye shadow. Lastly for the eyes line the lash line with L'Oréal Intense Black Liquid Eye Liner.
Step 7: Add Some Blusher
Define the cheeks with MAC Blusher in Blunt under the cheek bones before applying Clinique Fresh Bloom Blusher to the apples of the cheek.
Step 8: Highlight Your Cheeks
Use Topshop's Cream Highlighter Palette - taking the coppery colour - and dab the cream high up on the cheek bones. Also take the light shade from the palette to highlight above your top lip.
Step 9: Colour Your Lips
Apply Bobbi Brown Rose Berry Lip Colour with a brush in feathery strokes and use your finger to push the colour into the lips for a beautiful subtle stain.
Step 10: Set Your Makeup
Brush over MAC's Prep and Prime Powder to set your makeup, but avoid areas of the face you have highlighted.
