Step 1: Prep The Hair
Brush through your hair and find your natural parting.
Step 2: Create The Fish Tail Plait
Pull all your hair to one side and keep in place with a ring of elastic. Then tease the hair into two sections. Plait the two sections together by taking small sections of hair from both sides and placing them over each other. Ensure that you keep the plait tight as you continue the process down the hair. Don't worry if it looks a tad messy - that's what this look is all about!
Step 3: Secure It
When you get to the end use a small elastic the same colour as your hair to hold the style. Carefully use scissors to release the top elastic - and try not to snip your hair at the same time!
Step 4: Finishing Up
Use your fingers to loosen the plait in places where it looks too neat and to add volume at the top. Spray with hairspray to hold the style.
