How To Do Black Makeup

I'm here to give you some top tips and tricks doing some amazing videos and I hope you enjoy them. So I'm going to show you how to rock the black makeup trend and it's a little bit different because we are going to do black lips. So, I'm going to start off with taking a little bit of concealer and I'm just very gently going to put concealer around the lip line which just softens the lip line and subdues the colour.

And then I'm going to take a little bit of concealer across the lip so it just neutralizes the rosiness. Going to take black eye pencil and just very delicately trace along the natural line of the lip. And it particularly looks amazing with a smoky purple eye.

So now I'm going in with a glaze of colour that I have created. I'm blending that in with fingertips. So you can see how this lip is starting to take shape.

The key is to use a little bit at a time and build it up. Now I'm going to put some clear lip balm over the top of that. This would make a great base for other things.

You could touch on a mineral pigment in the center and then work it out. You could lower from the top a red gloss. You could actually take it much deeper if you want.

You can add a purple. You could add an overlay of gold. So, just because it's a black lip does not need to say it stays that way.

Because it can be very mercurial, but I just wanted it to kind of offset the gorgeous purple smoky eyes. And now we have a variation on black makeup. So it's kind of like a really catwalk friendly yet diluted down to make it more wearable black lip.
