You have your rolling tricks which are really breaking when you roll on one wheel or another and in various positions. You have your scalping tricks which mean that you will use your foot, brake to move the wheel along, you will not use these pedals or anything like that. You will be in a position where you can just scafe the wheel on the back on the move.

You also have your hopping tricks which are also a lot of your old school hopping and balancing move which should be under your beginner. Sort of umbrella and you also have your spinning tricks which are quite explosive from the back of a spin. But again, that can all be added together.

So, there are no rules. You can scafe, spin and roll all in the same combination. Totally down to your imagination at the end of the day.

Another style of flatland riding is called scafing which is using your foot as the brake and using the foot to manipulate the front wheel so that the bike moves with the one wheel and your foot.
