Hi, my names Reena. I'm from nailcreations.com.

This is Priyanka and Karishma. Today, we're going to show you how to create henna designs. We're going to show you how to do bridal henna designs.

We're actually going to start the henna by where the bangles will end and we're going to create a long strip all the way down to the forefinger. By using parallel lines, we're going to combine that with dots and different patterns to create a really traditional bridal design. It's very important to have the right consistency of paste when you're actually applying the henna.

We're going to show you the best way to fill up the design so it looks more as a pattern as opposed to just combining it together. It's very important when you're actually doing bridal design to have space showing that you can figure out and make out what the design and the pattern is. So try not to cover up too much of the clients hands.

It's very important to start from the center and then work your way outwards. It's very difficult when you do make a mistake to try and wipe off the henna as once the henna paste has actually come to the contact with the skin, it does stain the skin and the colour will come out and enhance very quickly. If you do make a mistake, try and direct it without wiping the henna paste off.

When you get to the center of the palm, work with really big bold designs, and then you can use a filler to fill them in after. Make sure the outline is absolutely precise, and then you can use smaller designs to fill in the center. It's very important that they don't merge together, as when the henna comes off, it will leave a smudge.

It's not such a bad thing if you repeat your designs, it's keeping the pattern very consistent and it will work well. The best way to create the design is actually looking at the bridal outfit and taking ideas so you can incorporate that into the henna as you're doing the patterns. With bridal henna, it's very important that you add your other half's initials as a tradition.

So we're going to find an area where you can write your other half's initials or you can write his full name. When you get to the finger, you're going to make sure the henna is not crowdedly paste, you're going to space it out slightly so it doesn't merge together. So you're going to make sure the client's hand is flat, and work with big bold designs.

That's how you create bridal henna designs. .
